MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

JSC MSZ continuously improves fuel designs and manufacturing processes, and also actively participates in research of irradiated FAs to study behaviour of individual structural elements for their improvement.

Fuel pellets and FRs are manufactured at automated lines equipped with the advanced inspection and control instruments that guarantee high quality and reliability of the products using the advanced welding and inspection methods. FA components are manufactured using top-notch specialised equipment with sophisticated automation and mechanical aids related to performed operations.

JSC MSZ has a well-established and operating quality management system (QMS). The QMS meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 international standard and is certified by TÜV Thüringen e.V. Our company obtained this certificate in 1996, we were the first to manage that in the industry and one of the first in Russia.

Moreover, JSC MSZ applies the Corporate Integrated Management System (CIMS) under JSC TVEL control, this system comprises the following:

– Corporate Quality Management System (CQMS), as per ISO 9001:2008;

– Corporate Environmental Management System (CEMS), as per ISO 14001:2004;

– Corporate Occupational Health and Safety Management System (COHSMS), as per BS OHSAS 18001:2007;

- Corporate Energy Management System (CEnMS), as per ISO 50001:2011.

JSC MSZ has a well-established and operating quality management system (QMS) that ensures management of organisational, commercial and technical activities. The QMS meets ISO 9001 international standard requirements and is certified by TÜV Thüringen e.V. Our company obtained the certificate (ISO 9001) in 1996: the first in the industry and among the first in the country.

Our well-developed production facilities, specialised equipment, highly skilled and trained employees as well as a considerable accumulated experience enable us to manufacture FAs for virtually any NPP in the world. Excellent quality of our FAs makes it possible to gradually expand our product supply geography worldwide within the nuclear market.

Findings of the QMS audits by our customers regularly verify that JSC MSZ is the qualified nuclear fuel supplier.
