PWR and BWR Fuel

In 1993 JSC MSZ started to work in cooperation with Siemens, and since 2001 – with Areva. The cooperation scope includes FA manufacture for PWR (Pressurised Water Reactors) and BWR (Boiling Water Reactors). The manufactured fuel in this case is supplied to Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Netherland and the UK.

In 2013 JSC MSZ manufactured the 3000-th FA for AREVA.

In 2000 JSC MSZ started cooperation with the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, and under the contract manufactures fuel pellets to be loaded in fuel pins of pressurised heavy-water reactors (PHWR) and boiling water reactors (BWR). In 2015 JSC MSZ manufactured and supplied 303 tonnes (PHWR) and 42 tonnes (BWR) of fuel pellets.
