    JSC MSZ was established according to Law of the Russian Federation dated July 3, 1991 No. 1531-1 “On Privatisation of Public and Municipal Enterprises in the Russian Federation” and Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated July 1, 1992 No. 721 “On Managerial Procedures of Transforming Public Enterprises, Voluntary Associations of Public Enterprises into Joint-Stock Companies” by reorganising public enterprise Production Association (PA) Mashinostroitelny Zavod. The incorporator of the company was the Moscow Region Property Management Committee.

    The company was registered on September 17, 1993 by Administrative Regulation, Elektrostal, Moscow Region No. 1055/17, Certificate of State Registration No. 681.
